Catalog and inventory
Find the product. Track the condition. Keep stock moving.
Start with a large product catalog in Fulcrum. Look up items, scan barcodes and stock labels, and manage the condition-specific inventory your game store buys and sells.
Give your staff a useful starting point.
Look up existing products
Search the catalog by name or barcode instead of starting every product record from scratch. Use integrated catalog records alongside the custom items your store creates.
Scan at the counter
Use a compatible barcode scanner to look up UPCs and Fulcrum stock labels. Fulcrum can automatically add matching available stock to a sale and process queued scans in sequence. Condition-specific labels help staff find the copy they are selling.
Keep conditions distinct
Track new, loose, complete-in-box, damaged and refurbished stock separately. Keep the condition and selling price attached to the item your customer chooses.
Catalog availability does not mean an item is in stock at your store. Product details and barcode matches vary; staff can search and review the item when a scan does not find the expected result.
From intake to label to shelf.
- Find or create the product. Search by name or barcode, then add a custom record when your store needs one.
- Bring stock into the store. Receive vendor inventory, process a trade-in, enter stock manually or receive a store transfer.
- Set the condition and review the price. Use your store’s rules and pricing tools to help staff make a consistent decision.
- Print the label. Give the item a stock label that staff can scan when it reaches the counter.
- Keep the record useful. Review quantities, update prices and count stock as your inventory changes.

Catalog and inventory questions
Does the catalog replace my store’s stock records?

Can I scan products?
Yes. Fulcrum supports barcode and stock-label scanning with compatible scanners. You can also search by name when the product or code needs a closer look.
Can I add something outside the catalog?
