Agree on the scope
Identify the data that can move, the exceptions that need attention and the records you’ll retain separately. Put credit balances, deposits and open work on the checklist.

Plan sample barcode scans and record checks around your store’s actual work, so staff know what to expect when they start using Fulcrum.
A practical migration checklist.
- Inventory and labels. Review SKUs, UPCs, existing barcode labels, conditions, prices, quantities and store locations. Test representative labels before making a preservation commitment.
- Customers and balances. Review customer identities, store credit and gift cards. Agree on how balances will be checked and which loyalty data can transfer.
- Open work. Account for active preorders, deposits, repair tickets and other unfinished transactions. Define an import or handoff for each.
- Historical records. Decide which records can transfer and how you’ll retain access to anything that stays in your previous system or an export.
- Cutover and first transactions. Agree on timing, final data checks and a fallback plan. Walk through the first scans, sales and other important workflows.
Import options depend on your current system, export quality and data structure. Free migration help does not mean every field, barcode label, balance or historical record can transfer unchanged. We’ll review those details with you.
Bring the workflows you want to improve.
Review your catalog and inventory, plan in-store sale events, and decide how to configure rewards and birthday coupons in Fulcrum. Existing points and reward history belong in the migration review; new program settings should be agreed before launch.
Use the move to review how your store handles trade offers, condition-specific stock, repairs and online selling. A demonstration should show your real tasks, including exceptions and corrections.
